Knowledge Oman hosts Team-Building activities for the Community

Muscat: Knowledge Oman, the leading community knowledge sharing platform, has recently hosted a colorful, fun-filled and fulfilling team building activities for the community at the Fun Zone Center as part of its goals to encourage, motivate and promote team building and bonding among the members. The event was organized to celebrate heroic/winning achievements and appreciate each team members contribution to delivering valuable knowledge-sharing programs for the society’s betterment.

Balqees Al Hassai, Vice President of Knowledge Oman said, “Team building is an ongoing activity at Knowledge Oman as we attract many talents in the country under one roof, dedicated to working together for the mission of transforming Oman into a knowledge based society. By strengthening ties and team work, we shape ourselves as one of the finest teams in the country.”

The team-building activities were a great opportunity for the members to take part in exciting and enjoyable activities outside of work. A set of three teams were formed for a round of three games each, while alternating the players within the teams in order to further promote team interaction, exchange of information, motivate competition and encourage support. The activities were well attended and welcomed by the members. This team building activity was a good opportunity to create a personal learning atmosphere where the diverse homogeneous team socialize and tend to strengthen bonds with one another creating a strong collective spirit to challenge any possible failing or obstacle.

“Team-building activities and games are one of the important ways in which organizations today can use to promote and build unity throughout a company. We believe in teamwork as that's one of the key ingredients of organizational success today” noted Tariq Al-Barwani, Founder of Knowledge Oman.

Established in April 2008, Knowledge Oman continues to create programs and events free for society to learn, engage and exchange knowledge in addition to hosting professionals from various backgrounds, gender, age groups and nationalities living in the Sultanate under one roof to support the development of a knowledge based society.
