Royal Opera House Muscat celebrates sixth anniversary

The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) recently celebrated six years of artistic and musical performances. ROHM celebrated its sixth anniversary on Thursday, October 12.
“Today is our sixth anniversary. From Turandot to Mohammed Abdou and everything in between; we have seen amazing things,” ROHM tweeted on the day.
ROHM started its first official performance with Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot on October 12, 2011. And His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who had graced the occasion with his presence, conferred the Order of Oman, First Class, on Franco Zeffirelli and honoured him for a lifetime of outstanding achievement in the arts, and recognised the excellence of his contribution to the inauguration of ROHM. **media[752702]**
