Omani, Iranian representatives review business opportunities

Muscat: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) received at its headquarters on Wednesday two business delegations from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The two delegations were received by Redha Juma Al Saleh, OCCI Deputy Chairman for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
The meeting discussed the therapeutic tourism fields, and means of developing the business relations between the two countries.
The OCCI Deputy Chairman for Administrative and Financial Affairs pointed out that there are many business opportunities in medical field which are evidenced by having many Iranian hospitals in the Sultanate.
He hoped that there will be business meetings between Iranian delegations and the Omani businessmen during the delegation’s participation at Oman International Health Exhibition currently held at Oman Conventions and Exhibitions Centre.
OCCI also received another Iranian business delegation comprising 35 businessmen specialised in technical services, engineering, building materials and construction.
The meeting reviewed means of enhancing bilateral business and investment relations, as well as sharing of experiences.
It also reviewed a number of successful business experiences by Omani and Iranian businessmen.
