Marathon effort by Royal Oman Police runners

Muscat: Police officers normally chase after criminals, but today they chased each other during the force's annual 12k marathon.
The Special Task Forces organised a 12km marathon and more than 160 contestants from the leadership programme participated. The marathon took place on Wednesday morning in Quriyat.
On the individual level, police officer Ahmad Saeed Al Amri from VIP Protection Unit came in first place.
Police officer Abdul Karim bin Abdullah Al Suleimani came from support unit in second place. Police officer Amran Abdullah Al Tobi achieved third place.
At the general ranking level, the Personal Protection Unit was able to achieve the first place, and the support unit got the second place, and the special task police unit in the state of Nizwa came in third place.
At the end of the race, Brigadier Mubarak Abdullah Al Falahi, Special Task Forces Police Commander sponsor of the race by handing out prizes to first-place marathoners.
