Five boats attempting to smuggle diesel seized

Seven expats were arrested on charges of smuggling diesel in Musandam.
"The boats tried to escape but were caught with seven Asian nationals on board, additionally, containers filled with diesel were found. The boats were towed to the Musandam Coast Guard police station." – Royal Oman Police
In another case, the Dibba Coast Guard police provided assistance to an Omani fishing boat whose engine failed near Al-Shara area in Wilayat Dibba.
The boat was carrying two citizens, who are both in good health, and the boat was towed to the Dibba port.
