14 sites in Oman added to UNESCO heritage list

14 heritage places in the Sultanate have been listed in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
This was revealed by the National Centre of Statistics and Information (NCSI).
According to NCSI, Oman has a total of 9,403 heritage places where 1,029 of them are heritage Omani villages.
9,403 are the total number of archaeological and heritage places in the Sultanate until 2018, of which 14 are registered in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).” - National Centre of Statistics and Information
