Oman karate referees take part in Premier League in Germany

Muscat: Three international referees from Oman are currently taking part in the Premier League in Halle Leipzig, Germany.
According to Oman Karate Committee, the three referees taking part in the September 8-10 event are Sulaiman bin Khalifa Al Hinai, Yusuf bin Musallam Al Siyabi and Hilal bin Mohammed Al Abdali.
The Sultanate is also being represented by athlete Ali bin Talib Al Raisee in the kata competitions.
A total of 1,360 players from 62 countries are taking part in the kata and comite competitions.
It is worth mentioning that the Oman Karate Committee, headed by Brigadier General Abdulmalik bin Ghassan Al Mazrooi pay great attention to the sport of karate .
Committee’s rapporteur Ali Almawali, meanwhile, mentioned that Oman’s participation in the Germany event is scheduled within the activities of the committee to establish the second championship in Salalah in October and the upcoming world championship in Spain.
