Tenders worth over OMR108mn granted approval by board

Muscat: The Tender Board held its third meeting for the year chaired by Dr. Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, chairman of the Tender Board and approved tenders worth OMR108,268,608.
The key projects and works approved included flood-risks protection dam at Al Jefainah in the Wilayat of Al Amirat, Muscat Governorate for the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources for OMR34,590,640; periodical maintenance services, spare parts and consumables to the medical apparatuses (HP/Philips-Patient Monitoring Equipment) at a number of health institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Health for OMR1,170,000; periodical maintenance services, spare parts and consumables for the medical apparatuses for a number of health institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Health for OMR375,465; purchase of medicines (Asfotase Alfa) for the Royal Hospital for OMR148,620; provision of periodical maintenance services, spare parts and consumables to the medical apparatuses (Carl Zeiss Equipments) at a number of health institutions of the Ministry of Health, OMR454, 211 and construction of two tunnels and additional works at Al Sharqiya Expressway Dualisation Road, OMR71,529,672 for the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
