Salalah cricket winners honoured

Salalah: Oman Cricket Club-Salalah concluded the Season 3 for 2018-2019 with a gala award night at Rotana Resort Salalah.
Khimji Ramdas sponsored the event which was attended by Kanaksi Khimji, the Chief Guest, Mansoor Sultan Al Touqi, General Manager of Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex Salalah, Ali Aqeel Ba, Omar Director of Administrative Affairs Dhofar university, Salim Mohammed Al Amri, Deputy Director Sports and Activities Development, Directorate of Sports Affairs Dhofar Region, Anil Khimji, Director Khimji Group and guests of Honour, Kiran Asher, Treasurer Oman Cricket, Madhu Jesrani, Secretary Oman Cricket, Nilesh Derani, President Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Axay Mehta, Vice President Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Anil Kumar Secretary Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Mayur Toprani, Treasurer Oman Cricket Club Salalah, John Rajamony, Dilip Chavda, Narender Mudaliar, Harish Bhatia, Zaki members Oman Cricket Club Salalah.
Invitees included all the sponsors who supported Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Al Razi Hospital, Salalah Rotana Resort, Al Shams Tiles, Khimji Ramdas, Chiko Eclairs, VR Galaxy Gammes, National Mineral Water Co, Muscat Pharmacy, Al Bayan Water, Al Isteqrar Hypermarket, Dhofar beverages, along with 4 winners and 4 runners up teams from 4 divisions.
Nilesh K Derani welcomed all the dignitaries and Kiran Asher highlighted the importance of umpires and discipline for the teams. He also announced the planned visit of Salalah team to Muscat to play friendly matches and importance of players undertaking training with professionals. Kiran Asher urged to develop cricket under Oman Cricket Club Salalah for all the schools in Salalah. Anil Kumar briefed about the activities of 2018-2019, including 118 matches to be played this year. Dr.Mansoor Sultan Al Touqi gave the man of series, batsman of series and bowler of series to the winners.
Ali Aqeel Ba Omar gives away winner and runners-up trophies of D Division, Salim Mohammed Al Amri gave away winners and runners-up trophies of C Division. Dr Mansoor Sultan Al-Touqi gave away winners and runners-up trophies for B Division and Kanaksi Khimji gave away winners and runners-up trophies for A division. Kiran Asher and Madhu Jesrani honoured all the sponsors and umpires for their support.
All the guest of honours were presented with a memento by Kanaksi Khimji and Kanaksi Khimji was presented Dhofar Sword as a memento by Dr Mansoor Sultan Al-Naqvi. Anil Kumar and Dilip Chavda were honoured by Kanaksi Khimji for managing the entire season.
