Oman Cricket officials inspect coaching facilities at Salalah youth cricket academy

Salalah: Chairman of Oman Cricket Kanaksi Khimji, Anil Khimji, Chairman Khimji Ramdas companies, Madhu Jesrani, Secretary of Oman Cricket, Kiran Asher, Treasurer of Oman Cricket, Nilesh K Derani, President of Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Axay Mehta, Vice President of Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Anil Kumar, Secretary of Oman Cricket and John Rajamony and Dilip Chavda, members of Oman Cricket, visited Salalah youth cricket academy to inspect the facility for cricket coaching.
The facility is owned and managed by Ramakrishna Sheshadri, also a member of Oman Cricket Club Salalah. Guests were welcomed by children from the academy. Sheshadri showed the guests the state-of-the-art bowling machine.
He also informed the guests that the facility would be shifted to bigger premises shortly with 10 practice nets and new machines with specialised bowling and batting coaches.
Oman Cricket advised Oman Cricket Club Salalah to promote the academy and utilise it for training players for the upcoming season. Academy is currently having 35 children of various age group doing practice 3 days a week. Senior teams use the facilities during evening hours under lights with coaches.
