Temperature dips after low pressure and rain in Oman

Muscat: Parts of Oman saw a drop in temperature of between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius due to the low-pressure conditions which affected the Sultanate on Sunday, according to the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA)
The lowest temperature recorded was 7 degrees Celsius in Saiq, followed by Yanqul and Mhadha with 15 degrees, whereas Wilayat Sadah and Thumrait in Dhofar both recorded highs of 35 degrees.
The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources released data produced by its rainfall monitoring stations which recorded the amount of rainfall between April 12 to 14 and announced that since Friday, Musandam Governorate had recorded the highest amount of rain with 119mm in Wilayat of Khasab. During that period, Diba recorded the second highest amount of rainfall with 110mm, followed by Nizwa with 103mm and Dima Wattayeen with 82mm, where The amount of water held by dams reached 25.1315 million cubic meters. The weather forecast for today April 17 is mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of late night to early morning low-level clouds over the South-Eastern coasts.
