Landslide causes building collapse in Oman

Muscat: A landslide caused a building to collapse in Wadi Kabir, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said.

The building's residents were successfully evacuated by PACDA and no injuries were reported.

In a statement, PACDA said, "A team from the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Muscat responded to a report of a rockslide on a residential building in the area of Wadi Kabir in Wilayat Muttrah, where the team managed to evacuate the entire building without recording any injuries."
