Estonian President visits 'Shabab Oman II' in Tallinn

Tallinn: President Kersti Kaljulaid of Estonia visited the Royal Navy of Oman vessel (RNOV) 'Shabab Oman II' while docking at Tallinn Port in Estonia during its participation at the annual festival hosted by the city.
She toured the various components of the vessel during which
she was briefed on the equipment and systems that enable the vessel to operate at high seas. She was also briefed on the role played by the vessel in promoting peace and love among people and states of the world.
She was also given an overview on the "Friendship and Peace Sail" voyage of the RNOV "Shabab Oman II" and its key objectives, such as training on sailing and taking part at the marine and international festivals.
At the end of the visit, she registered a speech at the visitor's record at which she expressed her delight of the vessel's facilities and utilities, as well as its traditional designs. She also expressed admiration of the activities organized by the vessel's crew and the cultural displays.
The RNOV 'Shabab Oman II' will head to Turku in Finland to take part at the marine festival that will be organised from July 20 to July 23. Before concluding its participation at Tallinn festival in Estonia,
'Shabab Oman II' opened its doors to visitors to brief them on the vessel and raise their awareness of the Omani history and culture, as well as the efforts made to promote friendship and love among various countries around the world.
