Oman's Majlis Al Shura takes part in Arab Parliament panel meetings in Cairo

Cairo: Majlis Al Shura took part in the meetings of the four permanent committees of the Arab Parliament, which began in the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday.
The meetings prepare for the sixth and final session of the first sitting of the second legislative term.
Rashid bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis A'Shura took part in the sixth meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs which discussed the circular of the Secretariat General on following up the implementation of the general session decisions.
It also completed studying the draft guidance law on investment and the draft regulations for contractors, as well as the expert draft regulation.
Salim bin Ali Al Kaabi, member of Majlis Al Shura took part in the 8th meeting of the legal and legislative affairs committee which listened to the report of the Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League and Head of the Legal Affairs Section on terrorism related issues.
The Committee decided to hold a conference on terrorism and mechanisms of combating it.
