Sayyid Asa'ad bids farewell to French ambassador

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received on Monday Roland Dubertrand, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Sultanate to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.
The ambassador expressed his thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to him during his tour of duty in the Sultanate from His Majesty, the government and the Omani people, which had enabled him to carry out his duty. He wished His Majesty good health, happiness and long life, and the Sultanate further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
On his turn, Sayyid Asa'ad expressed his utmost thanks to the ambassador for the efforts he exerted in serving the good relations between the Sultanate and the French Republic, wishing him permanent success, and the French people further progress.
The meeting was attended by Saif bin Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Badi, Advisor at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Said bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisor at the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
