Muscat: An Omani citizen has been arrested for committing theft, in addition to impersonating a police officer, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
A statement put out by the ROP said, “The Criminal Investigation Department of Al Khoud Police Station arrested a citizen for impersonating a police officer, and stopping others in the Mabella area of Seeb and stealing from them.”
ROP warns against such criminal acts and calls for immediate reports in case of such suspected crimes by calling 9999 or by going to the nearest police station.
