Youth Wing of Pakistan Social Club Oman celebrates Pakistan Day

Muscat:Hundreds of Pakistanis residing in the Sultanate gathered to celebrate Pakistan Day, organised by the Youth Wing (YW) of Pakistan Social Club Oman (PSCO) at the Muscat Holiday Hotel.
Mian Muhammad Munir, Chairman PSCO was the chief guest for the evening while Makhdoom Shahabuddin who is a presenter, columnist, vlogger and social media influencer, was the guest of honour.
Mazhar Javaid, General Secretary of YW of PSCO along with Zainab Saeed hosted the event that began with a recitation of the Holy Quran and was followed by keynote speeches from Iftikhar Ahmad, Head of YW at PSCO, Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Hassan Khan, Principal and Dean, School of Social Sciences & Humanities at National University of Science & Technology Islamabad as well as a member of the Economic Advisory Council of the Government of Pakistan, and chief guest Shahabuddin.
The evening also included various segments like a quiz show, recitation of national songs, speeches, and poetry. Renowned Pakistani poet, residing in Oman and Director of PSCO, Qamar Riaz, presented beautiful poems that he wrote for Pakistan, and was highly praised by the audience.
