Muscat: The Oman Tennis Association (OTA) has finalised the teams for forthcoming Islamic Solidatiry Games and the Davis Cup Group IV competition.
The teams were finalised after the OTA’s National Teams Committee held their fourth meeting of the year under the chairmanship of Siddique Al Hashmi.
In the tennis competition of Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from May 12 to 22, the Sultanate will have just one representative in the form of Omani star Fatma Al Nabhani.
According to the OTA, two other girls Sarah Al Balushi and Maryam Al Balushi expressed their inability to participate in the Games due to their academic commitments.
