Muscat: Al Twarja Trading and Ardaf Trading recorded contrasting victories to advance to the semifinals of the Oman Cricket Salalah-organised Pocari Sweat Salalah Cricket League on Friday.
In the second round of the knockout stage of the league, Al Twarja Trading defeated First Technology by six wickets to move into the semifinals while Ardaf Trading recorded a 65-run win over Samra United to book their place in the next stage.
Earlier in the morning, Taba Trading defeated United Professional by 11 runs and Al Qasid won by four wickets against Ghazal Kadra in the first round knockout matches.
The three-team semifinal lineup will be completed after the final match of the second knockout stage on February 17. The semifinals will be played on round robin league format with the top two qualifying for the final, which is scheduled for March 3.
