Camels, marijuana smuggling attempts foiled in Oman

Muscat: Muscat Airport customs officials have seized 17kg of Marijuana after a smuggling bid was foiled, authorities have announced.

Smuggling operations have been foiled across the country, the Directorate General of Customs at the Royal Oman Police said.

Customs officials foiled an attempt to smuggle five camels through the Hafit border as well as an attempt to smuggle 360 psychotropic tablets through the Central Post.
