Thousands of jobs created for Omanis in the oil and gas sector

Oil and Gas will offer more than 16,000 jobs for Omanis in 2019, the Director General of PDO has revealed.
Raoul Restucci, the Managing Director of PDO said during 2019, the company will provide more than 16,000 jobs for Omani youth after providing 17,027 jobs in 2018.
The Managing Director noted that the company, from 2011 to 2018 had provided 55,000 job opportunities.
"The percentage of Omanisation at companies working in the oil and gas sectors has reached 82 per cent, bringing the total number of Omani employees in these companies by the end of the year 2018 to 14,927 Omani employees." - Salim Al Aufi, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Oil and Gas
