Emergency airlift for sick Omani from Iran to Oman

Muscat: The Sultan of Oman's armed forces helped transport a sick Omani citizen from Shiraz city in Iran to the Sultanate.

The patient, suffering kidney failure and heart disease, could not travel through commercial airlines without aggravating his condition.

He was transported by a Royal Oman Air Force plane to the airbase in Seeb. On landing in Oman, the patient was rushed in an ambulance to Royal Hospital for further treatment.
