His Majesty's wise policy praised by Egyptian minister

Muscat: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry has praised the wise policy of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said in supporting and enhancing peace and stability efforts in Arab countries and around the world.
“The Omani-Egyptian relations are historic and have been characterised by similar views and taking identical policies that contribute to enhancing Arab stability and solidarity. The two countries work together to serve the interests of people of both the countries,” he said in a statement to ONA.

“The talks session that was held yesterday with Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs touched on the bilateral relations and the common desire to develop these relations and activate legal frameworks to enhance bilateral trade and investment. The session also covered the Arab conditions and challenges related to the situations in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and fighting terrorism,” he added.
“The challenges facing the Arab countries mandate us to join hands to address them by enhancing the shared vision and Arab Solidarity, he added.
“The upcoming Arab Summit is an opportunity for Arab leaders to exchange views and achieve a new breakthrough in the Arab joint action,” he concluded.
