Qatar Airways to boost its number of flights to Sohar

Muscat: Doha-based Qatar Airways will be operating 14 flights a week from Sohar from December 1, according to Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).

From October 1st, Qatar Airways has been flying seven times a week to Sohar. "In the winter schedule, they will be adding seven more flights to Sohar airport," the PACA said.

The Doha-Sohar route is being served an Airbus A320 aircraft featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class.

Sharjah-based budget airline Air Arabia started operating 16 flights a week to Sohar from Wednesday, October 4th.

Sohar airport has become the third hub for international airlines in Oman as Qatar Airways, SalamAir and Air Arabia have started direct services to Sohar, according to Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
