Muscat: Six wilayats across governorates in Oman recorded zero deaths since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Ministry of Health.
The statistics available on the Tarassud+ app show that these wilayats have recorded no deaths since the Ministry of Health announced the first two cases last February.
The Wilayat of Al Sunainah in Al Buraimi Governorate recorded zero deaths, despite recording 25 cases since the beginning of the pandemic. Similarly, the Wilayat of Madha in Musandam Governorate also have zero deaths and recorded 14 cases since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
The wilayats of Maqshan, Sadah, Dhalkut and Rakhyut in Dhofar Governorate also recorded zero deaths, even though they have registered 4, 73, 26 and 37 COVID-19 respectively since the beginning of the pandemic.
