Sayyid Fahd meets GCC Secretary General

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers yesterday received Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, GCC Secretary General.
The GCC Secretary General who is touring the region to inform the GCC leaders on the major aspects proposed for the agenda of the 37th GCC Summit scheduled to be held in Manama, Bahrain next month, in addition to familiarising with the visions towards the issues related to the GCC joint action.
Sayyid Fahd praised relations binding the GCC countries. He said the Sultanate under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan is always keen to enhance the GCC cooperation march towards achieving further growth and stability, as well as fulfilling ambitions of the GCC citizen towards better future. Sayyid Fahd also expressed the Sultanate’s appreciation over the efforts being exerted by the GCC Secretariat General in accomplishing the Council’s deliberations.
The meeting touched on viewpoints on the topics listed on the agenda of the GCC forthcoming Summit, which would support the Council and its institutions.
Dr. Al Zayani, expressed his good wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, hailing His Majesty’s wisdom and his constant support for the GCC Secretariat General in carrying out its tasks.
He also expressed his sincere congratulations to the Sultanate on the 46th Glorious National Day.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Al Fadhal bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.
