Muscat: Nawras is planning to invest around $350 million for the network expansion in the next few years, in line with the demand for broadband service.

It appears that a portion of this investment has already been made and the remaining investment will depend on the growth in broadband customer base. "It is a huge project and it (investment) will depend on the takers," said Ross Cormack.

The company has a market share of 50 per cent in mobile broadband and 40 per cent (40,000 customers) in home broadband service in the Sultanate.
