Shakespeare through Omani eyes

Muscat: An exhibition, ‘Shakespeare through Omani Eyes’ is now open at the Royal Opera House Muscat.
Several Omani artists participated in the exhibition by displaying their works and interpretations of Shakespearean plays, especially those from Romeo and Juliet, one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, whose opera version 'Roméo et Juliette' by Charles Gounod debuts at the ROHM tomorrow night.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, member of the Board of Directors of the ROHM, the exhibition is held in collaboration with the British Council and the Omani Society of Fine Arts in the country.
