Hadi briefs Alawi on efforts to end conflict in Yemen

New York: President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi of the Yemeni Republic received Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs in New York yesterday, on the sidelines of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly
They discussed the latest developments in Yemen. President Hadi gave bin Alawi a briefing on the international exerted efforts to reach a peaceful solution among the conflicting parties and the importance of restoring serenity and stability in Yemen.
Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs also received on the sidelines of the 71st session of the United Nationa General Assembly, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen.
The two leaders discussed the developments in Yemen and ways to reach a peaceful solution of the Yemeni crisis.
The meeting is considered a part of the talks under the UN aegis with the Sultanate, the GCC imitative and the disputing parties in Yemen.
Belgium
Bin Alawi also received Didier Reynders, Foreign Minister of Belgium. The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of promoting them within the economic and investment fields.
Within the framework of the mutual relations between the Sultanate and Costa Rica, bin Alawi also met with his counterpart Manuel Gonzalez, Costa Rican Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The two leaders discussed issues of common concern and means of enhancing them in various fields.
