Turkish Ambassador extends Renaissance Day greetings

Muscat: Uğur Doğan, ambassador of Turkey to Oman has extended greetings to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the Omani people on the occasion of the blessed Renaissance Day.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey wholeheartedly congratulates you on the 46th anniversary of the blessed Day of Renaissance. On this occasion, we would like to commend the brotherly Omani people for the progress and prosperity that they have achieved under the wise and inspiring leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
“Throughout these years, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Turkey have enjoyed excellent relations, based on mutual respect and benefit. Undoubtedly, our relations will continue to deepen further and strengthen in every field, including economic and trade relations, as well as people to people contact.”
He also emphasised on the Sultanate’s role as a peacemaker in the region and said that the strong ties between the two nations will continue to prosper.
“We believe that Oman has achieved great success under the wise and inspiring leadership of His Majesty and we wish the Omani people continued peace, prosperity and progress and a long and healthy life for His Majesty, and we believe that Oman has been throughout these 46 years an island of peace and stability in the region, which we value very much and our relations with this great nation have been exemplary.”
“We have very good diplomatic, political and economical relations. Our people to people contact has been increasing, especially during the past few years, with many Omani people visiting Turkey and vice versa,” the ambassador concluded.
