OMR4.8m deal to build four new health centres in Oman

Muscat: Four agreements worth OMR4,888,857 to construct health centers were signed at the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Tuesday by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health and in the presence of Dr. Darweesh bin Saif Al Muharbi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al Hosni, MOH Undersecretary for Health Affairs.
The new health centers are Al Moabilah Health Center in the Wilayat of A’Seeb, Sor Al Bulush Health Center in the Wilayat of Shinas, Al Buraimi Health Center and Al Mahaj Health Center in the Wilayat of Al Amerat.
The agreements are a continuation of efforts of the Ministry of Health to support the primary health care, as well as expanding the health services delivered to the citizens in all over the country.
On this occasion, the Minister said in a statement that signing this agreements is a part of the health system and the first projects that will be implemented this year.
It is worth to mention that, these facilities will serve more than 10,000 people. It consists of reception halls, pharmacies, treatment rooms, physiotherapy department, dental clinics, radiology department, x-ray and ultrasound rooms, and laboratories along with other facilities.
