Muscat: See Muscat application has been selected to be the national nominee of Oman and is one of 460 excellent applications from all around the world to enter the second round of the 2014 World Summit Award mobile competition, says a press release.

The awards"WSA-mobile's goal is to find out what works in different markets and in different parts of the world and what really makes a difference for the people in remote villages and global megacities," explains Peter A. The World Summit Award mobile is an UN-based initiative that selects and showcases the world's best mobile content to bridge the digital gap and put UN-WSIS targets into action.

An international jury of renowned IT experts and industry leaders will evaluate this year's nominated products.
