Muscat: Bait Al Zubair Museum would be welcoming guests to view the art collection over the Eid holidays.
The highlights of the collection include one of the finest silver jewelry collections in Oman, as well as a significant collection of historic prints and photographs of old Muscat.
Bait Al Zubair consists of six buildings, as well as a four-floor gallery hosting the Permanent Art Collection in Bait Al Nahdhah, and a unique collection of antique furniture and maps in Bait Al Oud.
During Eid and until the end of August, Bait Al Oud will also host an exhibition of calligraphy works by Omani artists. The exhibition, 'Calligraphy-The Art of the Letter', brings together an eclectic mix of Arabic calligraphers and typographers with incredible talents who are pushing the boundaries of the art form into new directions.
Bait Al Zubair will be open until the beginning of Eid from 9.30am to 2.30pm. The museum will reopen on the second day of Eid, when museum hours will be 9.30am to 6.00pm.
