Muscat: As part of its ongoing community engagement initiatives and activities, The Wave, Muscat, staff and community members rolled up their sleeves for the annual blood donation drive held in partnership with the Ministry of Health.

The successful drive saw employees, residents and visitors donate blood to make a positive difference to healthcare services in Oman and cope with growing demand for blood supplies.

Hawazen Esber, CEO of The Wave, Muscat said: "Our annual blood drives aim to bring us together to save lives and raise awareness on hereditary blood diseases common in Oman. With Blood Donor Day just around the corner, we would like to encourage people to support the Ministry of Health's various programmes in efforts to ensure the availability of blood supply all year."
