The Original Theatre Festival kicks off

The Original Theatre Festival brought to Oman by Eventful kicked off on June 10 at the Oman Auditorium, Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Muscat. This time around recognised names from the world of theatre such as Rahul da Cunha, Rajit Kapur, and Shernaz Patel are presenting five popular plays from their production house Rage Productions. Rahul da Cunha, director, Rage Productions expresses his delight at being back in Oman to perform for the Muscat audience.

The renowned English play "Dear Liar" featuring two of the finest actors of Indian cinema and theatre veterans - Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, was held at the Oman Auditorium of Al Bustan Palace, Ritz-Carlton Hotel at 7pm on 20 September. Patrons of theatre and performance arts had much to celebrate as the play turned out to be a stupendous success.
