Muscat: Dar Al Atta'a Association has set up collection boxes throughout the Muscat region so that residents can donate used clothing for the poor.

The used clothing boxes have been set up in Wattayah, Wadi Adai, Hamriyah, Ruwi, Darsait, Muttrah, Sidab, Wadi Kabir, Azaiba, Mawaleh, Amerat, Al Khuwair,  New Khuwair, Bausher, Madinat Sultan Qaboos, Al Sarooj,  Qurum, Madinat Al IIam, Ghala, Al Seeb, Al Khoudh and Mabelah.

A list of types of clothing that can be donated, as well as phone numbers that can be contacted in case a box is full, has been posted on each box.

Mariam Al Zadjali, chairperson of Dar Al Atta'a, noted, "We are happy about this project, which is user-friendly and will make it easier for individuals to donate their used items, which would contribute in supporting the association's activities."
