Three expats arrested for selling alcohol, cigarettes illegally in Oman

Muscat: Two expats have been arrested with more than 200 bottles of alcohol in their possession, while another expat with 1,000 packs of illegal cigarettes was held by the Royal Oman Police.
Officials announced that "Two Asian nationals were arrested in Adam on charges of trading of alcoholic beverages. The suspects were caught with more than 200 bottles of alcohol."
Police in Adam also arrested another "Asian national" expat for selling cigarettes and chewing tobacco illegally. "More than 1,000 packets of cigarettes and 180 bags of chewing tobacco were found in the suspect's vehicle," police said.
