Muscat: A Muscat-bound Air India flight made an emergency landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai on Wednesday night
According to officials, the flight AI-985 took off from Ahmedabad, but developed a snag en route, which forced the pilots to opt for an emergency landing.
Meanwhile, in Mumbai, at 8.15 pm, a full emergency was declared for the flight. Passengers were later shifted to another aircraft and subsequently flown to Muscat.
“The flight arrived two hours late in Muscat,” an official said.
While the scheduled time of arrival was 11:15 pm, the flight reached Muscat at 1:23 am on Thursday.
