Series of fires reported in Oman

Muscat: Firefighting teams have put out a series of fires that broke out across the country, rescue authorities announced on Wednesday.
The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) reported that "firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate were able to control a house fire that broke out in the area of Seih Al Arshan in the wiliyat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, without any injuries being reported."
Elsewhere, firefighting teams from the governorates of North and South Al Batinah doused a fire that broke out in Hoqain in the wilayat of Rustaq, which also saw no injuries.
PACDA also announced that following reports of a fire in the Al Mahbub area of Samail, "fire fighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate managed to get the fire under control, resulting in damage to crops, however no injuries were reported."
