An earthquake has hit Japan's second largest city, Osaka, killing at least three people

The 6.1 magnitude tremor came during the Monday (June 18) morning rush hour.

The quake brought much of Osaka to a standstill, forcing people off trains and shutting down factories.

There's been no tsunami warning triggered or damage reported at the country's nuclear power stations.
