Three places to visit this Eid weekend in Oman

Muscat: Some of Oman’s most popular attractions will be open to visitors throughout the Eid Al Fitr holidays, the Ministry of Tourism confirmed in a recent tweet.

The ministry said, “Nizwa Fort will be open during the first day of Eid from 4:00PM-7:00PM. From the second to the fourth day it will be open from 8:00AM-7:00PM.”

The ministry also confirmed that the Sultan’s Armed Forces museum will also be open.

The ministry said in a statement, “The Sultan’s Armed Forces Museum will be open during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.”



On Saturday the museum will be open from 9:00AM to 1:30PM. On Sunday and Monday it will be open from 9:00AM to 12 noon before reopening from 3:00PM-6:00PM.

The Ministry of Tourism will open the doors of the Muttrah Fort to visitors on Monday the 18th after its restoration and renovation.”

On Friday, the fort will open its doors from 9:00AM to 11:00AM and then from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. On Monday it will be open from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
