Meeting discusses efforts and initiatives of Omanisation in oil and gas sector

Muscat: The technical coordination committee tasked with supporting the provisioning of job opportunities in various sectors held here on Sunday its first meeting under the chairmanship of Sheikh Nasr Amer Al Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Labour.

The meeting discussed efforts and initiatives of Omanisation in the oil and gas field. It also reviewed employment figures in sectors related to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.

Further, the meeting also highlighted the role of the committee of regulating the job market in the oil and gas sector and its efforts in raising the Omanization rate in this sector.
