Kuwait: Oman’s Haitham Al Shuraiqi and Ahmed Al Hosni won the gold medal in the Nazar Ahmed Al Nisf Open Beach Volleyball Tournament in Kuwait.

In the final, Haitham and Ahmed defeated Abdulrahman Al Otaibi and Sultan Al Otaibi of Kuwait to take the top honours.

Meanwhile, Mazin Al Hashmi and Noah Al Jalboubi settled for the bronze when they defeated Rashid Ayoub and Khalid Hamza of the UAE.

The Omani teams took part in the tournament as part of their preparations for forthcoming Arab championships in Morocco and the Asian Games in Indonesia.
