Cyclone Mekunu: Restoration of a number of services to Dhofar

A numberof services have been restored to Oman's southern regions of Dhofar and Al Wusta following Cyclone Mekunu, which hit over the weekend.
Oman TV reported that roads in Thamrait, Marmul and Haima had opened up again, in addition to the Sadah-Hasik road.
Electricity has been restored to to Mirbat, Southerm Dahareez, Sahanoot, Auqed, Raysut and part of Thamrait, while repairs to the water network in the Wilayat of Salalah, with the exception of Raysut, have been completed.
Furthermore, the telecommunications network have been restored in large parts of the western region of the Wilayat of Rakhyut and its surrounding area.
