Muscat: Mwasalat, Oman's national transport company, will provide 10 buses with 500 seats to transport volunteers to Dhofar Governorate, the organisation announced on Saturday.

"As part of our social and national responsibility, Mwasalat will provide 10 buses with 500 seats to transport volunteers to Dhofar Governorate in coordination with the National Youth Committee in the framework of efforts to support our families in the governorate." Mwasalat said in statement.

Those volunteering must register on Mwasalat's website.

Oman's Ministry of Social Development, however, also said that all charities and groups must register with them before going to Dhofar. "Charities that are associated with social development committees must get an approval from the ministry before heading to dhofar for volunteering," the ministry said online.
