Operations currently halted: Oman's National Emergency Management Centre

Muscat: Operations of the field response teams have currently been halted due to strong winds and heavy rainfall, Oman’s National Emegency Management Centre said.
The Centre announced that strong winds and rain have been reported in the Wilayats of Mirbat and Salalah as the storm inches closer.
Meanwhile, a vehicle caught fire in Yasmeen heights, however, no causalities have been reported. On the other hand, fire engulfed a house in Gold market in Salalah and authorities are currently dealing with it.
Officials also stated that rescue operations are on for a group of people near Sheikh Isa Mosque in Salalah.
