Muscat: Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the United Nations was confronted by Pro-Palestinian protesters when she was giving a speech at the University of Houston recently.
Several dozen protesters, critical of her recent statements on Israeli killings of more than 50 Palestinians, chanted and waved Palestinian flags as Haley began her speech.

Introduced by University of Houston President Renu Khator as a "champion of human rights", Haley was visiting the University to give a 20-minute speech followed by a Q&A session.
The protesters chanted, "Nikki Nikki Can't You see, You are on a killing spree", and "Nikki You can't hide you've signed off on a genocide".
Dozens of students, representing multiple groups such as the "Students for Justice in Palestine", could be heard shouting, “Nikki Haley you will see, Palestine will be free” before exiting the building.
Haley then commented, "As disruptive as that might have been it's a reason to celebrate. Because my husband and my brother are combat veterans and they fought for their right to do that," she said, referring to the protesters.
