Tropical storm Mekunu: Shura council postpones environment ministry hearing

Muscat: The Shura Council has postponed its hearing with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs due to the impending cyclone Mekunu.
In a statement put online, the council said: "The Majlis Al Shura postpones the discussion with the Ministry’s of Environment and Climate Affairs to June 3 and 4."
The council was scheduled to host Mohammed bin Salim al Toobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs on May 27 and 28 to deliver the ministry's statement.
