Ramadan 2018: Oman's most sacred moments

Masjid Noor Aldeen Al Salmi

Noor Aldeen Al Salmi in Al Khuwair is a one-year-old mosque that holds a true definition of contemporary architecture. The mosque has a stylish exterior of its own; its entrance looks similar to a giant, open ice house. And, it has the best ceilings I’ve seen in town, completely covered in wooden decorations and carvings, as well as wooden architectural elements surrounding the building. The wonder continues to its interior, which is luxurious and modern too, with dark wooden ceilings, miniature rounded spotlights, and a golden chandelier.

Health Tips
Say no to overeating

People tend to overeat during Ramadan. Overeating is not doing your body any good. Alternatively, nourish your body with water and opt for a well-balanced diet to keep your blood sugar, blood pressure, and a host of other problems at bay. It is very important to take good care of your health and body during the fasting period. Since our body is deprived of eating and drinking during the day time, we might acquire a tendency to indulge in overeating after sunset that needs to stop.
