Muscat: Another low pressure weather system has formed over the Arabian Sea, the Oman's meteorology department announced on Sunday.

Officials at the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said that a tropical depression has formed in the southern part of the Arabian Sea.

Oman, however, will not be directly affected by the storm in the next three days. "The centre will continue to follow-up the development of the trough," it added.
